The Deafness Council Western Australia Inc was established in 1974. The Council is a co-ordinating body whose role is to facilitate the work of Deaf and Hearing Impaired people and agencies. The Council encourages relevant research and represents the needs and interests of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired to decision makers.
